Sonoma County Sheriff’s Henry-1 helicopter helped to find a trespassing criminal in Petaluma. On Wednesday night, officers responded to a video burglary alarm on the 500 block of Madison Street which is in a new subdivision under construction and surrounded by a fence. Officers spotted Eliaser Hernandez-Valadez within the fenced area and inside one of the homes’ garages. Valadez fled to the Lynch Creek Trail path, but officers lost because it was too dark. Henry-1 was called in and the crew spotted Valadez hiding along the creek path, behind a flood wall barrier. Officers were then able to arrest him without further incident for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
