Employees of a Starbucks in Downtown Petaluma could become the second in the North Bay to unionize. An election was held Wednesday. A tentative count shows all 12 employees who voted decided in favor of joining Starbucks Workers United. The next step is for the National Labor Relations Board to certify the secret ballot. Starbucks workers at Fairfield’s largest shopping mall recently became the first in the North Bay to unionize.
