Construction of a planned town center and plaza in Roseland is a step closer to happening thanks to a round of demolition. Some of the last remaining buildings at the site on Sebastopol Road and West Avenue were torn down this week. A former grocery store and bowling alley were torn down in 2014, but nothing had happened at the site since. On Monday, crews destroyed a building that housed a water sports center. On Wednesday, a building that used to house a dollar tree, then a Latin American market, was torn down as well.
