“Accountability for inciting an insurrection. It’s about time.” Those words from California Congressman Adam Schiff on an historic ruling in Colorado. That state’s highest court says former President Donald Trump is disqualified from holding office and therefore banned from appearing on the primary ballot. Schiff led the House’s first impeachment against Trump. As for California’s election, several lawmakers here want the same action and asked the attorney general in September to push for a fast court ruling. The deadline to certify candidates for the March 5th primary ballot is next week.
