A pair of rainstorms is expected to hit the North Bay this week. Forecasters with the National Weather Service say, by Saturday, there could be five inches of rain in the coastal hills, and two to two-and-a-half inches of rain in inland Sonoma and Napa Counties. The first storm is expected to begin dumping rain tomorrow morning, and could bring wind gusts of up to 30-miles-per-hour. The second round of rainfall is expected to begin Friday and feature calmer winds. New Year’s Eve and Day should be dry.
