Two graffiti artists have been arrested by Santa Rosa Police. On December 30th, 2023, an officer conducting proactive patrols in the Downtown Santa Rosa core noticed numerous “tags” of graffiti throughout a privately owned parking structure. Based on the nature of the tags, the officer believed the graffiti was gang-related and was able to identify the specific criminal street gang associated with the tags. SRPD’s Gang Crimes Team took over and identified the taggers through security camera footage. They arrested Ricardo Reynoso Hernandez and Pedro Rodriguez earlier this month for felony vandalism with gang enhancements.
