Gallo Winery’s Brandy House Closes After Four Years

Put away the snifter for now because Gallo Winery’s Brandy House is closing. After four years of operation in Napa, the Brandy House shuttered its doors January 28. Gallo’s Brandy House was the first stand-alone tasting room dedicated to luxury California brandies. In a statement, Gallo spokesperson Krista Fontana told the Press Democrat the company is pursuing the expansion of brandy with new spirits and flavor profiles to reach more consumers. Modesto-based Gallo is the world’s largest family-owned winery with more than seven-thousand global employees.
