California is proud of the San Francisco 49ers. Governor Newsom posted that on social media after watching last night’s heartbreaking Super Bowl loss up close. He was in Las Vegas and says the team brought passion, energy and grit to the field. He cheered them for “a game well-fought” and sent congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs, who won in overtime with a score of 25-to-22.
