Social Advocates for Youth, the Santa Rosa nonprofit that serves young people experiencing homelessness and other crises and has been on the verge of financial collapse, has secured funding to keep its doors open. SAY, as the nonprofit is commonly known, had turned to the public in a bid to stay afloat. Ultimately, the organization turned to some of the wealthiest county residents to raise $600,000. Another $500,000 was committed by the Community Foundation Sonoma County.
