The East Coast rival of In-n-Out Burger is coming to Sonoma County next week. Sonoma Magazine reports that Shake Shack is opening next Thursday in Santa Rosa’s Montgomery Village. Shake Shack was founded in 2001 by restaurateur Danny Meyer in New York City. It has since expanded to over 500 locations, including 11 in the Bay Area. Shake Shack is known for their signature ShackBurger along with crinkle-cut fries and frozen custard shakes.
