Neighbors in Vallejo are demanding more protection after a sideshow turned violent. Video posted on social media shows the destruction from Sunday night. Police say a man was chased, attacked and shot at a 7-Eleven all while drivers were doing dangerous stunts right outside. The store was eventually looted and the man’s truck was set on fire. Those who live nearby admit they don’t feel safe and are outraged with the police response. A spokesperson says the department is doing its best to hire new officers and was assisted by deputies from Napa and Solano County Sheriffs Departments.
