A popular Santa Rosa cupcake shop is closing after 16-years. The owners of Sift Dessert Bar made the announcement last week on Facebook citing several factors including ongoing impacts from the pandemic, various storms, fires and the current economic climate. Their last day in operation will be March 23rd. Andrea and Jeff Ballus opened Sift Dessert Bar back in 2008 with a shop in Cotati followed by locations in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Napa, and San Francisco. The Petaluma and Cotati locations have since closed.
