New data from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office shows auto burglaries are on the decline in the past five years. Last year, there were 99 reported auto burglaries in Sonoma County, compared with 148 the previous year. So far this year, there have been ten, putting the year on pace for a total of 65. There have been several hot spots for the crime in the past five years. They include, the west side of Sonoma, Fetters Hot Springs, Windsor, Larkfield-Wikiup and Roseland.
