A wrong-way driver is dead after a head-on collision on Highway 37. Early Saturday morning, a man in a blue PT Cruiser got onto the highway headed westbound in an eastbound lane and struck a gold Nissan west of Mare Island. The PT driver died from the crash while the Nissan driver suffered mild-to-moderate injuries. CHP are still investigating the crash trying to determine whether drugs or alcohol were a factor and when the PT driver got onto the highway.
