“Hate has no place in California.” That’s what Governor Newsom posted on social media as he calls for a ceasefire in Gaza. He posted an open letter yesterday to the state’s Muslim, Palestinian and Arab American communities. He says “It is time to work in earnest toward an enduring peace that will furnish the lasting security, autonomy, and freedom that the Palestinians and the Israeli people both deserve.”
