Monthly rents for residents of a mobile home park in Petaluma will be going up by more than a hundred dollars. An arbitrator has granted the owners of Youngstown Mobile Home Park a permanent monthly rent increase of $118 per mobile home space. The increase is retroactive to December 1st of last year. Residents protested the rent increase, but could have been asked to pay even more. Dating back to January of 2023, the owners had been asking for a rent increase of more than $900 per month.
