Petaluma Police have conducted another abandoned vehicle abatement sweep. Police recognized that there has been an increase in parking issues, as well as interest in revised parking ordinances addressing street parking of boats, RVs, and trailers throughout the city. During the sweep 7 vehicles were towed, 13 were cited for parking violations, and 38 were given courtesy notices. If you know of any abandoned vehicles in the city, you can fill out an abandoned vehicle abatement form at CityOfPetaluma.org.
