Senator Dodd Pushes for New Bill Protecting Wire Fraud Victims

There’s a new push to protect Californians from becoming victims of wire fraud. A bill aims to change the transaction process at banks and financial institutions. State Senator Bill Dodd is behind it and says simple questions should be asked before any money is wired. He had one woman testify she almost lost one-million dollars to scammers. The bill is expected to be heard by a Senate committee next month and then go up for a vote if it passes.
