A woman crossing a Santa Rosa street was hit and killed by a vehicle. It happened this morning around 6:15 AM at a crossing at College Avenue near Orchard Street. She was pronounced dead and driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police. Westbound College Avenue from Orchard Street was closed until after 10 AM. Police are still investigating the incident.
