Santa Rosa officials are considering closing a segment of Fourth Street to cars for some of the year. The area would instead be only for walking and biking, in hopes of attracting more visitors. The area up for consideration is two blocks, from B Street to La Rosa Tequileria and Grille and from Beer Baron Bar and Kitchen to D Street. The area was closed to cars before, during the early months of the pandemic. It allowed restaurants to expand outdoor dining.
