Seven People Rescued in Tomales Bay After Boat Capsizes

Six adults and a child are recovering after the boat they were on capsized in Tomales Bay in Marin County. The group was rescued shortly after three o’clock Saturday afternoon. The seven people were found holding on to a 14-foot aluminum skiff boat. Each person was suffering from exposure to the cold water, which was a little more than 50 degrees. Three people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Authorities believe ocean conditions combined with the number of people on the boat caused it to capsize.
