Paving work that was supposed to close a portion of Highway 37 this weekend is now called off due to rain in the forecast. The eastbound lanes of Highway 37 between State Route 121 in Sonoma and State Route 29 in Vallejo were going to close for 55 hours starting today. The work has not yet been rescheduled. The National Weather Service says inland areas of Sonoma County could get up to a half-inch of rain between late tonight and Sunday afternoon.
