A demonstration to call attention to missing and murdered indigenous people was held outside of Santa Rosa City Hall. About 150 people wearing red and carrying signs attended the demonstration on Tuesday. First, the crowd marched a half mile to City Hall from the Peace and Justice Center. It was the second annual march of its kind organized by Madonna Feather-Cruz, a Santa Rosa-based tribal liaison. For four straight years, President Biden has recognized May 5th as National Missing and Murdered Indigenous People’s Day.
