U.S. News and World Report calls out its iconic landmarks, historic streets, businesses and trendsetting residents. San Diego takes the 46th spot for its sunny weather, beaches, dining and entertainment options. Also on the list: Santa Rosa, San Jose, Santa Barbara, Visalia, Sacramento, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Fresno, Salinas, Modesto, Vallejo and Stockton.
