Petaluma may soon allow a few cannabis dispensaries to open shop within city limits. Earlier this month, the Petaluma Planning Commission voted to allow up to three cannabis storefronts inside Petaluma boundaries. The city council is expected to weigh in on the matter at their June 17th meeting. At this time, two delivery-only cannabis dispensaries are allowed to operate within the city as well as manufacturing and testing operations. While the city doesn’t allow for large cultivations, Petalumens are allowed to cultivate up to six marijuana plants for personal use.
