Firearms confiscated from Bon Kim (Santa Rosa Police)
A man from Santa Rosa is behind bars on suspicion of illegally manufacturing guns and possessing a large number of handguns and rifles. Forty-four-year-old Bon Kim, a convicted felon, was arrested at a home on Tuesday. Police have been investigating Kim since late April, when they intercepted a gun part he allegedly had imported from China. Detectives say Kim had 19 guns, including two short-barreled assault weapons, plus high-capacity magazines and ammunition. Police also found 3D printers and other tools for making guns inside the home.
