Crews have broken ground on a project to expand a school in Sebastopol. The addition will allow Plumfield Academy to serve kindergarteners with learning disabilities. The building is expected to allow the school to serve a dozen more students with social, emotional and learning issues. The private therapeutic school held a groundbreaking ceremony in celebration of the expansion on Wednesday. KSRO spoke with the executive director of the school about the expansion during our Sonoma County Focus public affairs show, and you can hear that interview online by clicking here.
