Sonoma State University has walked back its agreement between their former President and Pro-Palestinian protesters. Instead, Acting President Nathan Evans has laid out a new six point approach to diverse education and speech called the “The Path Forward for Sonoma State University.” In the statement, Evans, says this new plan supersedes any previous response to the protests and calls for an “open, productive exchange” between all parties involved. The six areas of focus expanded on in his statement regard free speech, consultation, exchange and study abroad programs, curriculum development, and commitment.
