Ken Mattson, the Sonoma County real estate investment manager who has been accused of financial irregularities by investors and his business partner, has broken his silence on the accusations. He provided a statement through his attorney on Friday that disputes many of his partner Tim LeFever’s main allegations, pointing the blame on LeFever, saying the halt on distributions to investors was LeFever’s decision. A subsequent email from LeFever stated that Mattson’s financial irregularities go beyond their shared company, Divi Divi Tree. He reported Mattson to the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
