Sonoma County Schools Awarded Over $9-Million for Technical Education

The Sonoma County Office of Education and Sonoma County public schools have been awarded more than $9 million dollars to help prepare students for college and careers through the Golden State Pathways Program, integrating career technical education with traditional education. It will expand opportunities in technology, health, and climate-related fields. These programs will be designed to allow students to advance seamlessly from high school to college and careers. The funds awarded to Sonoma County districts and charters are targeted to support planning and implementation of the new pathways.
