Charges Stand Against Hotel Healdsburg Employee for Killing Santa Rosa’s Man

A judge has upheld charges against a Hotel Healdsburg employee accused of killing a Santa Rosa man who confronted and attacked staffers last year. In a brief ruling issued Wednesday in a Santa Rosa courtroom, a judge said there is sufficient evidence supporting charges of involuntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon that prosecutors have filed against Romario Cisneros. Last month, Cisneros’ defense attorney, Charles Dresow, filed a motion requesting that the charges against his client be dismissed, contending Cisneros killed Abel Garza in self-defense.
