More lights are turning back on across the Bay Area to start this second day of a grueling heatwave. PG&E turned off power to thousands yesterday to reduce the risk of its equipment sparking wildfires. At one point last night, the largest outages were in Dublin and San Ramon. At last check, Alameda County now has about 80 customers in the dark. Solano County appears to have the most at 770 followed by Contra Costa County at 640. Sonoma and Santa Clara counties each have about half of those homes waiting for power to be restored.
