The Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport appears to be headed for another record breaking year. After the first six months of the year, the airport has flown over 322-thousand passengers. The latest projections show that this year’s final tally could outpace last year’s record of 641-thousand by about 30-percent. These projections are based on fourth- quarter flight schedules for Alaska Airlines and American Airlines, and the corresponding number of seats available in their respective planes. Meanwhile, Avelo Airlines hasn’t released any flight schedules beyond October.
