Two Victims Identified from Fatal Crash Near Middletown

Authorities identified two men who died last month after their vehicle went off a Lake County road and crashed into a tree near Middletown. 45-year-old Adaleido De Jesus Tellez was driving a Toyota Camry with two passengers June 20th on State Route 29 when he lost control of the sedan and went off the east side of the road. One passenger, 26-year-old Hilario De Jesus Sanchez of Mexico, died at the crash site, just north of Western Mine Road. The driver died at the John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center two days later. CHP-Clear Lake is investigating the crash and waiting for the toxicology report because of open alcohol containers found in the vehicle.
