Acorn Fire near Clear Lake 7-25-24 (Cal Fire)
The Acorn Fire has burned 151 acres of land north of Clear Lake and is 20-percent contained. The fire started just before one o’clock Thursday afternoon and was ten percent contained by 7:30 p.m. Close to 60 structures were initially threatened but there were no evacuation orders and all preliminary evacuation warnings have been lifted. Cal Fire says all of the fire’s forward progress has been stopped.
