Bridge to be Installed This Week for Pedestrians and Cyclists for Crocker Road Over the Russian River

A Crocker Road bike and pedestrian bridge over the Russian River in Cloverdale will be installed this week, adding significant safety improvements to the main road serving the city from the east. Installation of the pedestrian bridge, which will be placed alongside the existing vehicular bridge on Crocker Road, is scheduled between July 29 and Aug. 1. Due to the installation work, the bridge will be intermittently closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes. The $2.34 million project is mostly funded through CalTrans.
