Public Meeting Tonight at 6 PM Around the Proposed Casino-Resort Near Windsor

People wanting to comment on the Koi Nation’s plans to build a casino-resort outside of Windsor will get their chance today. The Bureau of Indian Affairs will be hosting a virtual public hearing about the project at six p.m. Officials will be taking comments on the latest environmental impact study connected with the proposal. The Koi Nation’s Shiloh resort would have a 540-thousand-square-foot casino with more than 27-hundred gaming machines, five restaurants, five bars and a coffee shop. It would also feature a 28-hundred seat event center, two ballrooms, and an adjacent 400-room hotel and spa. Written comments on the environmental study will be accepted until August 26th.
