A Boyes Hot Springs man has been sentenced after sexually assaulting a teenage girl and attempting to kidnap another. Fifty-three-year-old Jesse Granado-Lopez was sentenced last Friday to three life sentences without parole after being convicted of raping one teenage girl and trying to abduct another in the same morning in January of 2020. The crimes were committed near Altimira Middle School. He first used a knife to abduct a girl and raped her and then tried to abduct another but she escaped.
