Two men could spend the rest of their lives in prison after a deadly shooting outside of a bar in Santa Rosa. On Wednesday, 30-year-old Ednie Afamasaga was sentenced to 43 years to life in prison. His co-defendant, 32-year-old Fotagia Fuiava, was sentenced to 59 years to life in prison. Fuiava was given a harsher sentence because of his previous felony conviction for assault with a deadly weapon. The shooting that left a man dead happened outside of the Whiskey Tip bar in September of 2021. Both men were convicted of second-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at an inhabited dwelling or vehicle.
