One person is dead after a house fire in southern Marin County. Early Monday morning, a resident called 911 to report a fire at their home in the Tamalpais Valley area and that their non-ambulatory roommate was stuck inside. Firefighters arrived managing to put out the blaze and prevent further spread. However, they didn’t get to the man in time who died from the fire. The man’s identity hasn’t been released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
