The updated COVID-19 vaccine is now available in the North Bay. People can get vaccinated at chain pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS. It will also soon be available to Kaiser Permanente members and to patients of local community health centers. The FDA recently approved three versions of the latest COVID-19 vaccine. They are made by Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Novavax. Sonoma County Health Officer Doctor Tanya Phares recommends everyone aged six months and older get the updated version of the vaccine.
