A proposed 126-unit apartment complex in Cotati has cleared initial stages. Dubbed Cotati Village 2, its preliminary design review was approved and the developer received its tree removal permit during a city council meeting. However, the developer, Monahan Pacific will have to return for approval on affordable housing and inclusionary housing agreements. The project would be located on the corner of Alder Avenue and Highway 116, adjacent to the Cotati Animal Hospital. It will also be next to a previously approved project Cotati Village 1, which is slated to have 177 apartments.
