Two juveniles have been arrested for burglary and vandalizing Mattie Washburn School in Windsor. It happened late Saturday night when the two broke into multiple classrooms by removing the screens. Once inside, they discharged fire extinguishers into the classrooms and opened cabinet drawers. An alarm went off with deputies responding. The two juveniles were caught: one hiding in bushes nearby and the other at their own residence. They have been charged with felony burglary, as well as two misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest and vandalism. Both juveniles were issued citations and released to their parents.
