New Solar Panels at Sonoma County Airport (County of Sonoma and Forefront Power)

The FAA is investigating the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport over a possible lack of fire and rescue staff. The Press Democrat reports that the agency is responding to a whistleblower complaint made on June 28th. This comes as the Board of Supervisors is expected to approve the hire of two full-time emergency response employees bringing the total number of airport operation specialists up to 10. Earlier this year, the Sonoma County Airport repeatedly failed a runway emergency response drill and have had to make several emergency repairs to its main runway.
