A homemade handgun was confiscated during a traffic stop in Santa Rosa. Last Friday night in the area of Cleveland Avenue near Bicentennial Way, an officer pulled over a pick up truck for an equipment violation and learned that there was a gun inside the vehicle while talking to the driver and passenger. An un-serialized and unregistered handgun was found which the officer determined belonged to the passenger, 36-year-old Pedro Bermudez Sanabria. He was arrested and charged with Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a Vehicle and Possession of an Unregistered Firearm.
