California is joining a nationwide fight for preventive healthcare. Attorney General Rob Bonta says this is not only lifesaving, but finds the root causes of illnesses. He and 24 other state leaders are urging the Supreme Court to fully restore the Affordable Care Act’s preventive care mandate. It requires private insurers cover services such as cardiovascular disease intervention and screenings for lung, breast and colorectal cancer.
