A 16-year-old student is behind bars on suspicion of bringing a loaded gun and bullets to Santa Rosa’s Elsie Allen High School. The boy was arrested on Thursday afternoon after being detained by school administrators. The student was initially being questioned in connection with a possibly gang-related graffiti incident at the school. His backpack was searched and the gun and ammunition were found inside. Police add that the handgun was not registered.
