Petaluma police are investigating a report of a knife threat that occurred on New Year’s Eve.
Officers responded to the scene on Bond Avenue and Stokes Court, and were assisted by a helicopter from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
While no arrests have been made at this time, the investigation is ongoing. Police anticipate taking the suspect into custody soon and will release further details at that time.
