Court proceedings have resumed for Varinder Singh, accused of murdering his sister-in-law in Santa Rosa in 2022.
The murder occurred after an argument escalated, with Singh allegedly stabbing his sister-in-law 37 times. He remains in custody without bail.
Singh was deemed mentally competent to stand trial last October. A trial date is expected to be set later this month.
