Crews are starting to make progress in battling the deadly Southern California wildfires.
Officials say the Palisades Fire is now 8% contained. It’s one of five active wildfires in Southern California that have killed at least ten people and destroyed thousands of structures.
The Eaton Fire near Pasadena is 3% contained and the newer Kenneth Fire is 35% contained.
Meanwhile, the Hurst fire is 37% contained and the Lidia Fire is 75% contained. 180,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes.
